Have you met Jesus Christ, the savior of the world? He’s the most loving, kind, and thoughtful man alive. I’ve met him and there has never been anyone like him in the whole history of mankind. If you haven’t met him yet, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible.
You can get familiar with him through the pages of God’s holy Word. That’s the book we call, “the Bible.” It’s filled with information about Jesus. There are four books specifically dedicated about his life when he was here on the earth. They are the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Reading those four books, you will see lots of what Jesus did to teach mankind about his Father who is God.
You’ll see him encouraging people to seek the Kingdom of God first before anything else in life. He promised his Father would supply everything you need if you do that. He was talking about clothing, food, shelter, a husband or wife, a job, and anything else you need. You see, many people seek after those things instead of God. But by seeking God first, all those things will be ‘added unto you.”
Let’s see what Jesus said about this.
Matthew 6:25-34
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?
Do do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Often we find ourselves struggling in this life and we feel we’re all alone. We need help but don’t know where to look for it. The government? They are burdened enough. The community? It seems everybody is concerned about their own lives and not the welfare of others. Often we find ourselves with nowhere to turn and nobody to turn to.
There is a God in heaven who wants to help you — not only with your physical needs but with emotional and spiritual needs as well. This God is the creator of the heaven and the earth. He is real and able to help you. It’s time you ‘got connected’. God wants to make you whole. He wants your life to be complete.
You can connect with God through his son Jesus Christ. There is no other way to connect with God. This is because mankind made some very bad decisions along the way and got separated from God. God sent his son Jesus to take care of those problems. Jesus did that already and now anyone who accepts what Jesus did for them can be joined to God once again.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Here’s how you can accept what Christ did for you:
Romans 10:9,10 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved.
For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The word “salvation” means “to be made whole.” When man was separated from God, he was no longer ‘whole’ or ‘complete.’ But because of what Jesus did, wholeness is available once again. Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and man. You can approach God directly once you’ve accepted what Jesus did for you. You can be made whole too!
I encourage you to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John for yourself to learn about the our wonderful savior Jesus Christ. In him is life and that more abundantly. Let’s see what Jesus said about that!
John 10:10 The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
If you want ‘life more abundantly’ then you must accept what Jesus did on your behalf. An abundant life is one in which every need is met by God here and now. And it’s a life that, if it dies, will be raised when Jesus Christ returns and given a new spiritual body and eternal life.
Let’s review how you can accept what Jesus did for you:
Romans 10:9,10 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved.
It’s your call. Call on our Lord Jesus Christ and be joined to God for your own wholeness and for eternal life. Go ahead… confess Jesus is Lord and believe God raised him from the dead.
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Come and meet Jesus, the savior of the world!
Keep up the good work. Persecution only makes us stronger…..
Yes indeed, Jesus Christ is Savior of the world.
