Christians — beloved of the Lord — children of the Highest — foreordained and elect — the chosen of God! The time is at hand — will you slumber or wake up? Look around you… look at the society you live in. Look at the news, it’s blasted out every day from every electronic device you can own. Do you see what I see? Are you correlating what you see in the world with what the Bible talks about in ‘the end times.”
This is a wake-up call, have no doubt about it. Is it alarmist? Is it senseless and irrational? Listen to what I have to say and consider these words for I do believe the Bible tells us indeed, “the time is at hand.”
Revelation 22:10 And he said unto me, Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
The angel speaking to John in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ told John, “the time is at hand.” We read that and think, “That was nearly 2000 years ago and nothing happened.” Really? Nothing happened? We may as well throw out that old book they call the Holy Bible, shall we?
What about this verse?
2 Peter 3:3-7 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
Are you one who scoffs or one who believes? Are you looking for that great and glorious day of the coming of God and our Lord Jesus Christ? Do you really believe he’s coming back to rule on planet earth from Jerusalem?
Do you know there are more verses in the Bible that prophesy Jesus’ second coming than there are that prophesy his first coming? It’s true. God wanted us to know, absolutely, without a doubt, that Jesus will return to earth to put down all evil and establish his own kingdom in righteousness.
You have a standing invitation to join that kingdom. What will you do with that invitation? Will you ignore it, thinking it’s religious ‘garbage’ or will you heed it and escape the coming cataclysm?
What did Jesus talk about most when he was on earth? Look how many times he talked about, “The Kingdom of God” and “The Kingdom of Heaven.” He mentioned it over and over and over again.
Just before the resurrected Lord Jesus ascended into heaven, his followers asked him if he would at that time restore the kingdom of Israel. His response was that the timing of that event is in God’s hands and they needn’t worry about it– it will come to pass on God’s timetable.
Friends, that time has come. The time is at hand when all who believe will be saved from the worst time in the history of mankind. The judgement of God must occur because God is just. God can’t let things continue to go on and continue to degrade as they are forever. No, God is Love, God is Just and God is about to save those who want to be with him for eternity out of this evil world.
If this message touches your heart at all, I encourage you to investigate this further. Jesus Christ is coming back and you can be ushered right into his kingdom. It’s the only logical choice one can make.
I’m not going into all the arguments of why I believe, “the time is at hand,” — all I will do is point you to the news about what’s happening over there in Israel. They are nearing the time when a 7-year treaty will be signed giving the Palestinians their own state — land which God deeded to Israel long ago. That treaty is so significant that God tells about it in Scripture. It will be broken half way through, at the 3 1/2 year mark and then “sudden disaster comes” upon Israel and the rest of the world. Our Lord Jesus will return at the end of the seven years.
We are closer than you think. Yes, really. Seriously.
Here’s how to join God’s kingdom.
Romans 10:9,10 if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”
Don’t scoff. Believe. I’ll see you ‘on the other side.” The time is at hand.
